lu̍t 捋, to stroke in one direction with the closed hand, as a man's arm or queue; to bare the arm; to squeeze out with the hand, as blood; to milk.
lu̍t-leng 捋乳, to milk. lu̍t-lin 捋奶, id. lu̍t-niⁿ捋奶, id.
lu̍t-chhiú 捋手, to pull up one's sleeve. lu̍t chhiú-kut 捋手骨, id. lu̍t chhiú-ńg 捋手䘼, id.
lu̍t-chhiú lu̍t-kioh 捋手捋腳,  to bare one's arms and legs, as for fighting, or for hard or dirty work.
chhiú tióh-lu̍t--khí-lâi 手著捋起來,  bare your arm!
lu̍t--khí-lâi 捋起來, to bare, as the arm.
chhiú-ńg lu̍t--lóh-khì 手䘼捋落 去, let down the sleeve again
